Shopping Bag: Canisters

I have avoided shopping for a while because of budget constraints. This shopping spree is different as I needed to buy something for our new home.

These to me are expensive. But I wanted kitchen canisters that will fit the theme of my kitchen. I found them at Touch of Class. They are pricey but worth it.

My Dry Skin

I have had dry skin since my adult life. It is hard to believe how my skin reacts when it is exposed to the sun for a prolonged period of time. Considering the fact that I came from a tropical country where it is hot all the time, it is somewhat unbelievable.

I have gone great lengths of trying different products that works for my skin. Some works but at some extent. When my skin gets immune with it, it goes back being dry again. So basically, I change product every now and then.

Beach Vacation

Have you ever thought of wearing your sexy bikinis and flaunting your toned body this summer? I wish I can. My daughter will surely love to be in the beach. But at the moment, we really don't have the extra budget for a beach vacation. Even if there are affordable beach house rentals everywhere we still need more money for other expenses if we go for a vacation. Vacation is not in our top of the list right now as we are still furnishing our new home. Maybe next year, we will be able to go away for a vacation.

One of the things that we loved in our new house is the high ceilings. With a beautiful ceiling fan hanging on it, it looks so spacious. Having a high ceiling, the sound of our TV seems to echo and we have to turn the volume more so that we can hear whatever we are watching. We need to buy some Energy speakers to improve the sound quality whenever we are watching movies or tv shows. But it is not a priority right now, maybe after we buy some of the things we needed to have.

Before we moved to our new house, I decided to buy a new comforter set. I was pleased with this design because it matches the colors of our bedroom walls. It looks so good in our guest bedroom.

Every one have his or her taste in fashion. Some wear what's trendy, while others have their own fashion sense with the notion of having a comfortable fitting. I guess it holds true with my friend who loves to wear Alabama apparels. VS Bra

VS bra to add to my lingerie collection. Seriously, I really hate buying VS bra because though they are beautiful and comfortable they are pricey for me. Imagine, this bra is priced $52 each. For the regular price these will be $104 + $10.40 tax with the total amount of $114.40 for 2 bras. I surely don't want to spend that much on bra!

How was I able to afford these? I snag these during their sale. I just paid $44 for both (tax included).

Log Bedroom

I was looking at some log bedroom furniture when I went to the furniture store two weeks ago. They are beautiful but it won't fit on the existing decoration of my home. So, I decided not to buy it although I was in love with it.

Our home is not yet fully decorated. I still need to buy some more furniture but because of budget constraints, I have to do it one at a time. I know in time, I can have them all. I just need to save for the items that I need for our home.

Accessories can be worn whatever the season is. Now that it is summer, I like to wear bright colored accessories that will complement my summer wardrobe.

Garden Gnomes

I can't help but be envious of the people with beautiful landscape in their homes. I am just glad that the former owners of the house that we bought had made the landscape of the house very nicely. They have done so well. Our front yard doesn't need to be improved very much unless I want to put other things like garden gnomes, water fountain or etc.

While I was at the store yesterday, I saw some beautiful things in their home and garden area. It reminded me of those garden gnomes for sale online that I really liked. Maybe, just maybe, when it is not very very hot, I will decide if putting additional things on my yard will be possible.

Guess Flipflops

So far this is the hottest summer that I have here in Alabama. I even hate going out because it feels like you are inside the oven. Few days ago it reached up to 105F.

Anyhow, I am ready to say goodbye to summer although it just started. And to indulge in summer style, I got a new Guess Flipflops! This is a beauty!
