I was looking for high heeled shoes to wear on my interview. I found this pair on sale. It was 80% off the tag price... good deal for me...

This pair is really perfect for my black slacks. And for a price of just $11, who wouldn't buy this?

Trim Your Bangs

Some girls like their hair to have bangs... I don't! I am use to one length style of hair so that when I tie it, I can tie them all.

Trimming your bangs is easy and doesn't need a lot of time. If you let the salon do the job, it may become too costly just for trimming. So why not do it yourself?

What you need:
Sharp scissors
Mirror

How-to:
  • Start with dry hair. (If your hair is wet, your bangs will wind up too short.)
  • To ensure that you are cutting straight, look in the mirror and place the comb horizontally at the spot where you want the bottom of the bangs to be. (They should fall just above the eyebrows.)
  • Make small snips at a vertical angle to create a soft fringe, using the point of the shears rather than chopping with the entire blade; this will give you more control.
  • Make sure the comb remains parallel to the floor.

Tips in Buying Swimsuit

If You Have a Large Bust
Buy a swimsuit with underwire, this type provides ample support. Consider buying a high-cut back, halter straps, and slip-free silicone edging.

If You Have a Straight Figure
Natural-looking push-up padding and halter straps enhance the chest, while the bottom sits low on the hips, creating the illusion of width.

If You Have Full Hips and Thighs
High-cut legs downplay the thighs while the red strapless style showcases the shoulders.

If You Have a Tummy
Choose a swimwear that is made with a slenderizing fabric (think control-top panty hose), this suit's high-cut bottom tames that belly pooch.

Business Suit

I don't own a business suit as I don't wear them. There is no reason for me to own one as I am not currently working. I am wrong! I need one!

In a month, I will have my citizenship interview and I need to wear a business attire for that interview. Thankfully, I still have a month to look for a business suit that will fit me good. This means, I have to go shopping.

I will be shopping for my outfit tomorrow. Hopefully, I can find one... if not, then I need to schedule another shopping day.

Dora the Explorer Beach Towel

Andrea got a new beach towel. Though we don't go to the beach, she loves using it. She likes to spread it and play with all her toys. For her it is like doing a picnic in the middle of our living room.

Purposes of towel other than drying:
A towel can be used to sit, lie and stand on, to avoid direct contact with the ground, sand, rock, chair, etc.. It can act as a make-shift garment or blanket. There is a variety of uses when a towel is applied in this manner. For example, the towel can be used as an extra layer of clothing for cold conditions; or can be worn on its own around the waist (similarly to a kilt or skirt) or just under the shoulders (similarly to a long dress), usually in a warm environment.

Coach Purse

Yay! I got a new coach purse. Mom Lori gave this to me. Well, I don't want to buy my own coach because it is somewhat pricey for me. Thankfully, I have "sponsors". This tote is really perfect because I can put my personal things plus Andrea's change of clothes, diaper and wipes there without problem. This is a perfect size for me. Thanks Mom!
