Skeleton Keys

Just last night my daughter discovered a new pretend play. She used her toy key pretending to open the door of her room. She just realized that she needs a key to open her door. It was cute.

Did you know that skeleton keys are designed to fit a warded lock, which has been in use for approximately two thousand years? It is amazing how long this type of keys has been around.
